Your Dog's Favourite Mat Deserves a Second Life
Snuffle mats take a beating — and that's a good thing, it means they're being used and loved. But eventually the fleece wears thin, frays, or just doesn't smell so fresh anymore. Instead of starting from scratch, we'll rebraid your mat with brand new fleece — same base, same shape your dog already knows, just refreshed.
And here's the best part: it doesn't have to be one of ours. Any brand, any mat — if the base is still in good shape, we'll give it new life.
How It Works
- Enquire Message us on WhatsApp — tell us the brand, size, and condition of your mat. Send us some pictures.
- Get It To Us Drop it off at our Paarl unit, or arrange a courier (for your account).
- Assessment We check the base mat's condition. If it's in good enough shape to rebraid, we confirm and get started. If it's too worn or unsafe, we'll let you know and send it back.
- Rebraid Fresh fleece, freshly braided onto the same base your dog already loves.
- Return Collect in person, or we'll courier it back to you.

Note: The R50 assessment fee only applies if we assess the mat to be irrepairable.
If we do the assessment and accept the rebraiding the R50 is fully credited toward your rebraid.

Do you only rebraid Injara mats?
Not at all — we welcome any brand of snuffle mat. As long as the base is safe to work with, we'll rebraid it.
What if my mat can't be rebraided?
We'll assess it first and let you know honestly. If it's too worn or damaged to safely rebraid, we'll return it to you rather than compromise on quality.
How long does it take?
Turnaround time is confirmed once we've assessed your mat, and depends on current order volume.
Do I need to fill anything in?
Yes — a short intake form covering your mat's condition and a quick disclaimer, completed before we start the rebraid. We'll send this to you once you reach out.
Can I drop it off in person?
Yes — our unit is based in Paarl, Western Cape. Courier drop-off is also available.
